The first week's leaderboard will be posted shortly.A slow start from teams competing this year but I predict it will get better as the month progresses.Temps in the high 70's and low 80's means that the water temp will continue to warm up on both the east and west coast and bigger sharks will be approching coastal waters in search of tarpon.

“You're in the midst of a war: a battle between the limits of a crowd seeking the surrender of your dreams, and the power of your true vision to create and contribute. It is a fight between those who will tell you what you cannot do, and that part of you that knows / and has always known / that we are more than our environment; and that a dream, backed by an unrelenting will to attain it, is truly a reality with an imminent arrival.”

Fight the good fight and Catch a Monster.

NICE! can't wait to him em up tom night. A note for shannon and everyone else out here I've been talking to some shark bioligists and they say to try to avoid dragging your fish backwards the water going through the gills the opposite way isnt that great for em. Try to push em into the water instead of pull.

Hey everyone we need your cooperation in posting your pictures .Please post your pictures by opening an account on photobucket.com or tinypic.com.We need to be able to see the overall length of your sharks and some of you are using a format that does not have adequate size.

Also please let us know in your post the size of each and every shark and the angler making the catch.

Example

Hammer #1 is Sally she is 12'9'' she likes long swims along the beach, loves to catch tarpon and hates fisherman that thing they can catch her.
Hammer #2 is Walter he is 14'2'' he likes to hunt, loves cow nose rays and hates 80 wide Avets on 10' Gator Glass Rods filled with 200 lb. Diamond Momoi Braid with a 30' leader and 2 16/0 Owner Super Mutu Circle hooks threaded threw a 20 lb cow nose ray.

Just got done talking to Walter he told me to meet him 200 yards of a certain beach tonight around 11 p.m. with a fresh cow nose ray with the spine cut off. I told him ill be the,re we will make it a party. Sally will join the party around 3 a.m. wearing nothing but a party hat and a smile
